If you’ve ever been on a Zoom with me and I share my screen, you’ve probably heard me say, “Don’t mind my thousands of open tabs.”
They linger like digital breadcrumbs—each one a little spark of curiosity, a thread I didn’t want to lose. My Chrome may crash regularly, but I can’t help it. Sourcing is one of the most magical parts of my job.
I get to spend my days deep in the hunt—for the right artwork, the unexpected material, the piece that makes a space sing. It’s not just about filling walls. It’s about conjuring feeling, context, contrast, delight. Whether it’s for hospitality, home, a client, or myself, the process is the same: I’m looking for wonder.
So I thought I’d share a peek into what’s been living in my tabs this week
Frances Featherstone painting
Soft, surreal, and slightly cheeky—her work is everything I want over a hotel bed. One recent piece in particular seems to whisper: “You’ll sleep well here.” iIt’s not trying to be metaphorical. It’s inviting. It’s dreamy.
Zaha Hadid’s Liquid Glacial Table
A dining table that looks like a frozen waterfall mid-melt. Sensual, architectural, elemental. I’m not sourcing one of these (yet), but it’s giving me ideas about the power of clear, fluid, futuristic forms in private spaces.
Bojagi-Inspired Curtains
I don’t know how to sew. But if someone handed me some sheer linen and a free afternoon, I’d try to make bojagi patchwork panels—Korean-inspired and kaleidoscopic in the light. The joy of handmade translucence. Panels of shadow and sun.
A stitched piece of textile art that reads: “The only safe thing is to take a chance.”
Found on Etsy, floating around my screen all week. I love that it’s typed and stitched. The texture makes the words feel more true. Risk is nerve-wracking—but it’s also where aliveness lives.
Espíritus del Ande Palo Santo Incense
I’ve been lighting one every morning while I set an intention out loud. Sensory cue → new neural groove. I’m almost out, which means it’s time to restock—and maybe try a new scent. (But I love this one. It’s smoky and citrusy and grounding.)
Mismatched-but-color-coordinated Sabre Paris cutlery
Already dreaming of my trip to Paris this fall for Maison & Objet. I’ve made it my mission to curate the perfect set of Sabre cutlery—mismatched styles, all in the same dreamy color family. There’s something so charming about an intentional mix. I want every dinner party to feel like a collection of tiny love letters—each fork and knife with its own personality, but all speaking the same language.
Let me know what you’ve been moodboarding, pinning, saving, or hunting down. I love sourcing stories—and sharing the scroll.
