I Want It.

I was gifted a biography of Venus, Aphrodite, for my birthday.

Her whole thing is desire. Attraction, beauty, the pull toward what feels good.

It feels relevant.

‍

‍

It was also RAREform’s birthday last week.

‍

And mine.

‍

And I got everything I wanted.

‍

A really intentional night with my friends, sweet cards, so many flowers. Just a lot of time with people I really care about.

And still, I want.

‍

Not in a lacking way.

‍

Just in the way the art and design industry keeps you wanting.

‍

There’s always something new, something thoughtful, something that catches your eye and doesn’t let go.

I have a soft spot for that.

So I’m leaning into it.
